What Happens to Your Leads After They Enquire?

byThe Agent Response Team The Agent Response Team

Most agencies rely heavily on Rightmove to generate enquiries. But in doing that, you’re often handing over your most valuable asset, your property content, and relying on portals to generate attention for you.

A better way to look at it is this: what if you used that content first to drive traffic to your own website, build your own audience, and generate interest directly?

Because when you do that, the value of every enquiry changes. It’s not just about the people you speak to straight away, it’s about everyone else as well,  the buyers who weren’t quite right, the sellers who didn’t move forward yet, the landlords who were just exploring.

In most agencies, those leads are treated as one-off opportunities and quickly forgotten. Which means every time a new instruction comes in, the process starts again…back to the portals, chasing fresh attention, building momentum from scratch.

At the same time, there’s already a large pool of people who’ve engaged with your business before. In many cases, they’re still relevant, they’re just not being used.

You’re starting from zero more often than you think

Growth doesn’t just come from generating more enquiries. It comes from making better use of the ones you’ve already had.

When you start to look at it that way, those past interactions stop being “old leads” and start becoming something far more valuable; an audience.

The agencies doing this well are building that audience over time. They capture it, segment it, and stay in touch in a way that’s consistent and relevant.

This is where things begin to change…

Once you have that in place, a few things shift.

You’re less reliant on portals to generate interest, because you can promote new instructions directly to people who already know your brand. And when you’re in a valuation, you’re not just promising exposure, you can show that you already have the buyers.

So why isn’t everyone doing it?

Most agencies don’t do this because it feels difficult to manage. It’s time-consuming, inconsistent, and easy to push down the priority list when things get busy.

This is exactly what Agent Drive is built for

Agent Drive is built around solving that. It takes the data you’re already generating and turns it into something structured and usable, a growing, segmented audience that can be engaged automatically over time.

So instead of starting from scratch with every new instruction, you’re building something that compounds with your business.

Agent Drive is launching soon. If you want to see how this could work with your existing data and enquiries, we can show you.
