How to set up a Facebook Pixel for Facebook Ads for Estate Agents

byThe Agent Response Team The Agent Response Team

As an Estate Agent, you should be running some sort of Facebook ads to promote your services, grow your online presence, and generate leads in your local area.

One of the best ways to run ads is to remarket to your website visitors. These users are already warm leads- they know of your brand and what you offer, and the fact that they visited your website indicates that they are somewhat interested in using your services.

The way you are able to remarket to your website visitors is by installing a Facebook Pixel into your website, which tracks user activity.

To set up a Facebook Pixel, go to business settings in Facebook Ads Manager. Select Data Sources, and then Pixels. The below pop-up will show on your screen, where you are able to set up a pixel by completing the required fields.

Once complete, Facebook will provide you with a code, and instructions on how to plug this into your website. There is an option to enter your web developer’s email address to send this information directly to them, which is the recommended installation option.

Once your web developer has plugged the code into your website, you are then able to create new audiences based on user activity across your website. Examples could be:

  • Web Visitors – 30 Days

  • Lookalike (1%) Web Visitors

  • ‘Landlord’ Page Visitors

The options are endless and can provide fantastic audiences which will generate quality home valuation or landlord leads for your sales teams to work through.
